World sparrow day is on 20th march.
It is the mark of awareness to the people about this little bird.
There is a threat of extinction of this urban bird.
The population is decreasing day by day
Where is the house sparrow gone?
Every one is asking about sparrow
Earlier they were visible in groups
but now we seldom see the house sparrow
We must take care of them and aware people about them
We must find out the causes of their decline
It is due to urbanisation and less amount of agricultural field
Due to lesser gardening practices and fewer plants which attract these birds for their chicks feed as insects,survival ratio is declining
Few bigger birds eat their egg which is also the cause of decline
We must take steps
Such as built their safe nest and provide adequate feed and aware people
